This opinion piece by Jennifer Kavanagh is very, very bad. Naive at best but I believe it goes further: it portrays Taiwan as the unique trouble maker and basically suggests to let Taiwan disarmed and isolated.

"At any rate, this isn’t about abandoning Taiwan", she writes.
