This is Waylon. He'd been in a shelter for 95 days when a woman came in with her son Cai. Cai asked so many great questions about how to keep him safe and healthy. When he returned to officially adopt Waylon, he arrived in a very dapper suit, saying it was a "special occasion." 14/10 for everybody

a little black lab puppy sits on two concrete steps with the most defeated expression on its face. all four of their paws are tucked onto one step, while their booty is plopped on the step above. this could be permanent for all we know.

This is Chicken. She helps shy puppies feel safe and comfortable at the shelter where her human works. When the staff noticed her unique ability to help shy pups feel confident, Chicken quickly found herself with a full-time job. After all, every mother hen is, in fact, a Chicken. 13/10
Chicken stands on the right edge of frame, her wiry hair poking up in a single tuft atop her noggin. she’s got two little puppy buddies running around on her right, both light brown with bits of black and white. Chicken and a bernese mountain dog pup sit side-by-side in a long corridor. they both have their heads tilted slightly and tongues sticking out. also their feet seem to have matching white sock patterns on all of their toes. Chicken looks at the camera with her sweet muppet eyebrows. she’s laying down on a puffy white bed, and there’s a teensy brown dachshund puppy laying down next to her with a timid expression on their face.

a brown block-headed dog with a big white patch on his chest sits on some carpet and looks sheepishly up at the camera. the pup’s front paws are down by his sides, and his back legs are extended straight out between his front paws, pressed together in a pike. another angle of our pibble friend and his spectacular sit. he’s at a 45-degree angle now, but still closely watching the camera with his eyes. his legs look very polite in their tight little formation, and his tail is curled around his left side to touch his left front paw.

This is Zelda. She’s in her new forever home after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Got a tiger onesie to help her feel brave. 12/10
