If I am right, China's debt-to-GDP ratio will likely increase by even more next year than the 11 percentage point increases in 2024 and 2025, and China's trade surplus will remain as high as ever or even higher.

None of this is likely to make the eventual adjustment any easier.

It's hard to find anything good in the November economic data for China, just as it is hard to find anything new to say. All the important indicators continue to weaken, as they have throughout the year, in some cases even decelerating further.

Trust me on this—a demilitarized zone in Russian-controlled territory is pure fantasy. It will never happen. The fact that this is being discussed at all is a testament to the extremely low levels of Russia competence among the US negotiators.

Great chart. One can still have bubble jitters - but the valuations of the large publicly traded tech giants aren’t at levels seen in prior recent bubbles.

‼️Big sign of growing unrest inside Russia.

Taxi drivers across Russia are desperate enough that they are willing to risk a nationwide strike for higher wages. Higher fuel and maintenance costs are a major factor.

The protests that started in September seem to be growing.

Trying to do some synthesis on the perpetually ongoing EU-US growth discourse here:

1) Undeniable at this point that the US economy is growing faster than the EU— ~5% more on a per-capita basis since pre-COVID. But importantly, this is mostly a recent phenomenon; pre-COVID growth was basically even

And who exactly is going to loan them the money?

Because if they decide to issue 180 trillion in bonds at 14% fixed interest your chart may explode.

Never mind what that would do to inflation.

russia’s entire M2 money supply has tripled in the last 9 years, and is still only 123 trillion.
