Like a lot of franchises what I really want from any additional books or movies is for the characters to discover a ruined Statue of Liberty and go “It was earth! It was earth all along!” even if the books never indicated it would be elsewhere

Cool. No closure ever, we are all permament children who exist in an endless now and can never fully appreciate the bittersweetness of mortality; human lives are as endless and commodified as a worn out TV show that never quite reaches the brink of unprofitability, cool cool cool
