Timeline Cleanse!

I wish I could understand the logic:
Person I live with always complains about lack of money yet still continues to pay about $100 a month for a landline phone we never really use as we have cell phones.

Holidays are over, now starts the No Junk January cleanse to give the body a break from all the excess indulgences the holiday season is known for.
Happy New Year.

Probably everything I ever watched in the early 1980s that wasn't a Saturday morning or after school cartoon.
Name 1 movie from your childhood you were way too young to watch.

Guess who turns 1 year old today? My girl Nyx is graduating from puppy to dogling! Happy birthday my sweet little Christmas pup!

LOL once again I get someone asking me if I'm ready for Christmas. Christmas is going to come whether I am ready for it or not. It hasn't really held much magic for me for quite a few years now so let it come and go as it pleases.

Life is forever and always on hold. Always something coming along to stop my progress.

The #1 movie when you were 10 years old is how your 2026 is going to go.

Not sure if this is good or bad. lol

My advice: Like what you like and don't worry about anyone who tells you it's cringe. Life's short and the world's on fire, and as long as you're not hurting other people, you're fine. I mean, I still like U2, too! I don't care who knows it. If other people don't like that, that's a them problem.
I love U2. I feel like I could have glided along, enjoying them, if it wasn’t for that damned internet. Now I am on the defensive or lying low with my fandom. That’s happening somewhat now with Taylor Swift. She’s the biggest star in the world but the backlash has begun. “Mom pop”?

When audiences decided the opinion of a critic they read regularly was not as valuable as the thumbs up and thumbs down of 150 random critics, many of whom were only published on their own personal websites. The volume of opinions dwarfed educated ones. That was the first big crack.
What do you think the first death knell of the modern media landscape was? When we started conflating art with content or when we stopped being able to tell the difference between audience and community?

When I told my boss I didn't have a way in to work today, I told him I was not happy getting screwed out of making my money and when I'm not happy people go missing. He got a big laugh out of that. I'm a walking super villain origin story.

One of the many downsides of having to share one car to get to and from work. When one person gets screwed at their job and has to work late, it screws the other person out of getting to their job to make their money. Not happy.

DAYUM!!! And here all I have in my collection is stuff from the 1990s nobody would care about if I tried to sell them.

Superman edition found in mum's attic is most valuable comic ever at $9.12m
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a new record after Man of Steel comic found in a California home is auctioned.

Had quite the laugh this afternoon. Apparently I'm a literal zombie. Leechy tells me that when he went to the hair salon this morning for a haircut, his usual stylist sympathetically told him she was so sorry to hear about (my) death. He was totally confused.

I work with a lot of idiots. One would think that hearing the boss say he had to fire 3 people last week for breaking certain simple rules would deter others from breaking those same rules, but no of course not.
I mean I hate the job too but I really need the money. Why risk getting sacked?
