Loves gardens, nature, dogs and British Columbia. Turns out what I really care about is Canada. 🇨🇦
This is enraging. We have one of those cases where they want $2000 from one of our kids that lost a job, applied, got $4000 total. It’s been three years of letters since we disputed it and no progress on the file.

YVR today sent me passenger data for October.
Overall traffic is up. Domestic traffic is up. Other international traffic is also up.
The only thing not up is passenger traffic on flights to and from the U.S.
That's down for the 10th straight month.

YVR sees fewer passengers on U.S. flights for 10th straight month
Passenger count on flights to and from the U.S. dropped 9.1 per cent in October, while overall count was up 6.6 per cent

With TMX the federal Liberals basically did what Carney is promising to do—pushed a pipeline to the coast over BC and Indigenous objections. They even federally funded it, dispensing with the need for a business case.

It didn't even move the needle. Why would a second pipeline be different?

but hacks know it sounds sort of serious without committing to anything

so they shove into politicians' mouths to insult people with ears

i just read something about grief from C.S. Lewis and his book, “A Grief Observed”

basically, when someone you love dies, it isn’t just them that you miss, but the parts of yourself that person brought out of you that can never be brought out again.

i feel that with my dad.

If this path doesn’t look like it’s straight out of The Lord of the Rings… 😅

This landscape takes me back to that moment when the hobbits first meet a Nazgûl in the forest.
I wish autumn would linger a little longer - it’s the most magical time to be out in nature (and behind the camera). 🍂📸

He gaslights our nation, blames Canadians for being mean to the US. He accuses of us being anti-American.
He says we are mean and nasty and doesn't like us saying Elbows Up.
Too bad Pete. We are proud anti-fascists
