It’s time. I love this film. And I love the Point Reyes area of California where it’s filmed. Maybe one day it will be possible to return.

My friend @willguyatt.rocks, struck by a kind of localised Mandela-effect, thinks that I used to have a #Saab. None of my 30+ #cars (and counting, doubtless) have been a Saab. I wish I'd had a 9-5 though, as they came with dual sun visors, for the front and side. Because, you know, we turn corners.

Reasons why #Iceland is magnitudes greater than the #UK, number 4289: we don’t inexplicably pretend to magically create more time by engaging in witless biannual clocktwuntery.

Cannot tell you how incredible it was to play all of the acid house records I did (loudly) in Littlewoods record department at this time when I worked there (Northumberland Street). Yer nana coming downstairs for her tin of pek with Voodoo Ray belting out. Scenes. #TOTP

We also stopped here when driving the PCH from San F to Los Angeles. Back in the days when visiting the USA was desirable/possible.

7. Visage - Fade To Grey

One of the downsides of the fragmentation of mass media is that you no longer get moments like this, where everyone sees something like this on daytime television and collectively has their minds blown.

The death of Soft Cell's Dave Ball is extremely sad. We lived in Covent Garden for 8 years and it always amused me to know that the Pink Flamingo - or its inspiration - was just round the corner. Say Hello Wave Goodbye is one of the greatest melodies ever written.

We had our staff meeting two weeks ago in this apparently “buried” town. Grindavík is very much alive and open, with firm plans to thrive further. This is the kind of unadulterated gratuitous screeching horseshit one would expect from British low-rent, right wing “news” papers. Not the BBC. Shame!

Stockhausen's #centenary is a couple of years away. Buying his complete works from #Stockhausen Verlag would cost - ready? - 2,186 EUR. And that's without a nice box. So, a) will there be a retrospective box set, and b), what hope is there of it costing even half that?

I want to cease non-work use of Facebook altogether, but am required by sweaty craven cyborg Mark Zuckerberg to keep a personal account in order to manage a page.

It does however mean that “memories” like this pop up.

I’ve been saying this - explicitly referencing this episode - for years.
times like these i look to The Simpsons episode Treehouse of Horror VI "Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores" when Lisa and Paul Anka sing “Just don't look! Just don't look!" to get people to turn away from the monsters rampaging the town and the lack of attention defeats the monsters and saves the town
