I'll spare you the thumbnail because I really don't want that woman on my timeline, but here's Mark Kermode's review of Melania, which really says everything that needs to be said.

FWIW, here‘s a 2020 article about Asimov the serial creep:
Asimov’s Empire, Asimov’s Wall - Public Books

Day 6: Tindersticks - Singing

An instrumental called "Singing". If anyone‘s allowed to get away with that joke it‘s the mighty Tindersticks.

This is only related in a sideways manner, but: the story of any small slice of humanity is the story of humanity, just boiled down and distilled. So:

In 2020, we had a lot of conversations about harassment at SF/F conventions, and Isaac Asimov came up several times.
the Epstein files are really devastating because they remind me of how many girls and women miss out on professional opportunities, mentorship and careers because of how many powerful, rich and influential men only view girls and women — and interactions with them — through the lens of sex

It was a pleasure putting this together for @thequietus.com - I’ve long been obsessed with Crypt of The Wizard. One of the oddest, most genius labels in deep underground heavy metal (and beyond). Also a shop. And a festival.

Day 5: Angelo Badalamenti - Twin Peaks Main Theme

Ok, I suppose adding a soundtrack is close to cheating here, but this really is fantastic and _technically_ it‘s the instrumental cut of Julee Cruise‘s Falling.

Day 5: R.E.M. - Leave

Come on! One of R.E.M.‘s most underrated songs and definitely one of my favourite Peter Buck riffs. Ok, less a riff, more a drone or texture but you get the idea. 😁🎸

The Bannon-Epstein interview (or what I have seen of it) illustrates that most of this gang are rather stupid but absolutely convinced they're hyper-intelligent Übermenschen destined to rule the world. Basically Usenet trolls with limitless money and power.
