Me and the #MycBio25 cohort had a great time today. Got to see an OpenScope in the wild @uctidm-mu.bsky.social and play for a whole day on an @zeiss-microscopy.bsky.social LSM980 - been 3 years since I’ve used a point scanner confocal on fungi

Napoli are crowned Serie A champions.

Goals from Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku made sure of it on a dramatic final day

They finish just one point ahead of Inter to win the fourth league title in their history.
Napoli's Scottish midfielder #8 Scott McTominay (R) celebrates with teammates after scoring a goal during the Italian Serie A football match between Napoli and Empoli FC at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples on April 14, 2025. Napoli's Uruguayan defender #17 Mathias Olivera fights for the ball with Empoli's Italian forward #99 Sebastiano Esposito.

Great to have Lucian Duvenage from @mrccmm.bsky.social CapeTown ✈️ to do MYCOscopy w/ @balloulab.bsky.social in Emergomyces Africanus - an emerging fungal pathogen yeast that needs more Mycology bioimaging tools. Here are some Macropahges brimming with them (green yeast)

Read preprints. Cite preprints. Email people and tell them you loved their preprint. Email people you hated their preprint. Embrace preprints, preprints are good.
