Probably even "talking on the phone" is as effective, which is why Putin calls him up the day after every meeting with Zelenskyy. He can only hold "the last thing I was told" in his head, which probably explains a lot of his imaginary boogeymen - they come from social media and TV.

It's actually fine. Sony Betacam SP decks use the same concept when fast searching, or for long-duration pause, of reducing the tension but keeping it *just* floating over the heads. Virtually no wear.

I think mine is a little newer than yours. Only single deck, but it does have Dolby S and it still works great, although I have had to replace the belts and a couple of capacitors.
