Within myself, there are a million things, spilling over into a silent scream.

Lichfieldian, English, British, European.

Villan.
@benkentish.bsky.social As a Villa fan who attended tonight's match, I would like to express my gratitude to WM Police. I can't say I've always been a fan of policing at football matches, but the atmosphere was excellent
Maccabi fans were banned because of previous fan incidents not any other reason

Villa supporter here

Worth noting that ALL Legia Warsaw supporters even WITH a ticket were denied entry two seasons ago due to crowd disturbances immediately before the match. Away end was completely empty.

Police have precedent.

P.S. How do you pronounce Warszawa?

Lindsey Graham just said he's "never felt prouder of Trump and Vance" and Zelenskyy "needs to resign" because he's "not someone US can do business with".

I mean, if the plan is to run a sort of global protection racket and extort money, your first easy target not paying up must be REALLY annoying.

Possibilities of democracy have been hijacked by corporations and wealthy elites like Elon Musk.

Political donations are effectively bribes to shape public choices, with no accountability of the donors.

The only effective remedy is to ban all donations/bribes.

It would be correct and proper for the UK to return the Parthenon Marbles, but I've also decided that Greece are only going to get @sturdyalex.bsky.social back from our cold, dead hands.

The Brexit Curse:

Brexit cost UK £27bn in lost trade in first two years.

British exports fell by 6.4%, imports by 3.1%.

OBR forecast a 15% slump in trade, leading to a 4% reduction in national income, over the longer term.

Self-inflicted harm.

Rejoin the EU.
