nevermind I thought I could fill in with a little piece of a blank white label I had but it looked probably more noticeable if anything. whatever. no big deal. it's fine this way, I'm satisfied. all good.

yeah slight tear in the corner I know I fucked up a little applying this but honestly I'd say even with that it fits with my collection better than "oversaturated & no contrast"
hell with it being a white rounded corner I might even be able to fix that fairly easily with a separate thing I have

I just don't get why this nesticle-ass hack circulated so much for this to be the case. allegedly there's single carts of this as well but I've never found one myself

granted local programming around here isn't the greatest thing ever and I'll never *truly* re-capture an old tv experience fully (all programming now is 16:9 that I'm cropping with my digital converter box)

it's not the invincibility sparkles but it is next to them. the two tiles used for that are larger sparkle sprites.

I don't find Marble Zone to be that bad (in either game even) but it is one of the slower ones, I do see why people wouldn't like it.
Maybe give Mega Play Sonic 1 a try if you can.

should any of you be willing to play through Somari yourself and Labyrinth Zone is just a little too much for you, I get it man. you have full legal right to level select and skip that shit.
