I love observing ethnic and especially religious diversity at the Philly Zoo. Always lots of Muslims. On Saturdays the Philly zoo has lots of Mennonites visiting and on Sundays it’s filled with Hasidic Jews. We went to the Camden Aquarium on Easter Sunday, it was Orthodox Jews and Muslims.

Some forms of Holocaust education are better than others, but the problem is also one of emphasis. For so many Jews the Holocaust stands at the center of their Jewish identities. And this not new, I wrote about it years ago and many have before. thecjn.ca/opinion/pers...
