It’s that leading Labour figures and people like Jon Sopel and Lewis Goodall doggedly continue using it for completely amoral reasons. Like, Goodall has been using X to publicise clips of his show where he castigates the government for inaction on X. That’s a complete pisstake.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Headline: Left-leaning mothers of Mumsnet are deserting Labour for Reform Extract: Reform has become the top political party for traditionally left-leaning mothers. a survey of Mumsnet users found, in what has been taken as a wake-up call for Labour. The parenting forum has become a barometer for mothers voting intentions. Analysis of Murnsnet conversations correctly predicted the country would choose to leave the EU in the 2016 referendum. Now research shows 20 per cent of users intend to vote Reform UK in the next election, placing the party ahead of Labour, the Tories and the Liberal Democrats. It is the first time since the Mumsnet political poll began in 2009 that Labour has been usurped by any party. Justine Roberts, the co-founder of Mumsnet, said she was surprised by the results from the poll of more than 1,000 adults, but understood "why many mums have hecome disillusioned" with the government. Analysis or conversduons on Mumsnet found there was anger about rising taxes, failed welfare reforms, NHS pressures and the perceived effect ofimmigration on public services. a general disillusionment with Labour having not achieved what people hoped they would have achieved. There is also increasing worry about two issues, the cost of living and immigration. In November, Shabana Mahmoud, the home secretary, announced changes to make it less attractive to claim asylum in the UK and easier to remove failed asylum seekers. Roberts said: "Shabana Mahmood's latest sally on immigration, I think, may land with our users, because what they want is effective government. They want people to effectively deal with these issues. But, if they don't, and they carry on bundling along as they are - that goes for Labour and the Tories - people will vote for Reform, even if it feels like a protest vote.” Many of those intending to vote for Reform suggested it was a protest against Labour and the Conservatives. One user said: "I will vote Reform. I am educated and never thought I would say this but the establishment needs a kick in the arse. Of course Reform won't last but it will kick existing parties into shape. Sorry but nothing can stop them now."

In a telephone interview this morning with The Atlantic, President Donald J. Trump issued a threat against Venezuela’s Interim President Delcy Rodríguez, saying that, “if she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro,” adding that he would not stand for Rodríguez’s “defiant rejection” of military intervention by the United States. Additionally, during the interview, President Trump reaffirmed that Venezuela may not be the last country subject to American intervention, or even that it would remain isolated to Latin America, clearly stating, “We do need Greenland, absolutely,” while describing the island which is a part of Denmark, a close-ally and member of NATO, as “surrounded by Russian and Chinese ships.”

It's all "the Trump regime says she was a terrorist, but Democrats say it was murder".

The BBC has the footage. It doesn't have to treat truth and falsehood as equally valid.
