For other politicians, sharing something so racist would be treated as a career ending scandal even if they quickly apologized and claimed to have not watched the video before sharing. Trump hasn't done that, the Times invents out of whole cloth the idea that he might have made an innocent mistake

I got the deletions right away but had to stare at it for a while to find the substitution. Couldn’t get “mousse” out of my head.

It's funny though, during Biden we did hear stories about the WH Press Corps banding together in solidarity to run negative Biden stories in solidarity, in response to perceived rudeness/incompetence from Karine Jean-Pierre bsky.app/profile/vict...
They wouldn't stand up for the AP when Trump kicked them out over the "Gulf of America," they won't stand up for Lemon for covering the news. We're gonna need a really big iceberg when we retake power because a lot of folks will need to be set adrift into a cold exile.

DACA was great but it was a pivot from when Obama was emphasizing deportations and border security to get Republicans to bargain on immigration reform, which they never did because they want the issue not a solution to the issue
