I've got to say I've never been nuts about the premise of this episode. I've never seen the Joker as someone who needs outside validation for his comedy, because he doesn't think the way anyone else does. It's enough that HE thinks he's funny.

Some of my personal favorite Clive Revill roles include the COLUMBO episode "The Conspirators," the STAR TREK TNG episode "Qpid" (as Sir Guy of Gisborne!), and as the Russian Rogozhin in Billy Wilder's THE PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES. What are yours?

I LOVED what STAS did with Supergirl's origin. She wasn't from Krypton, she was from Argo, a neighboring planet in Krypton's system. So Superman was still the Last Son of Krypton but she was now figuratively his cousin instead of his literal cousin. Perfect.
