Actually the play was more "Hollywood" than the movie. In the play you actually see Miles and Maya back together. At least in the movie he knocks on the door and that's it. Still a bit of mystery. He could have fucked it up again once he got inside!

It's sad because Miles is alone and not sharing the moment with Maya, not because he's in a greasy spoon with a burger. Maya herself said: "The day you open that wine makes it a special occasion." And so it is!

That’s so weird you’d show that cover! Two days after 9-11 I was walking down Hollywood Blvd & I saw this cover on the ground. I thought: “That’s totally sick! In two days someone used 9-11 for their music!” It was only much later that I realized the cover came first in a bizarre coincidence.
