After today’s budget I predict …..

People on the left will be unhappy
People on the right will be unhappy
People in the centre will be unhappy

And everyone will still think it’s going to be better in the future if only we continue to do the same things as we have in the last 50 odd years

Is welfare spending ''out of control''?

Total welfare spending in Britain in 2025-26 is estimated to be 10.8 per cent of GDP.

That's just 0.8 per cent of GDP higher than in 2007-08, and total welfare spending has actually fallen fallen by 1.2 per cent of GDP since 2012-13⤵️

As @carolecadwalla.bsky.social explains on Novara Media, the network exposed in court reaches far beyond one man - and that should alarm all of us.

I remain genuinely gobsmacked that this wasn’t picked up more. The Alex Jones who *repeatedly accused grieving parents of making up their children’s murders*.
Anyway, “after the news we’ll be joined by Nigel Farage & definitely won’t be asking him about any of this…”
On US TV shows and podcasts from 2009-18, Farage discussed supposed plots by bankers to create a global government, citing Goldman Sachs, the Bilderberg group and George Soros as threats to democracy. Included six guest slots with the disgraced far-right US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

We knew the UK press wouldn't understand or properly cover this story, so we did. Thank you for the support!

Hmm, now I wonder who else would have been delighted about that.
