On a positive note, Saskatoon D-Beat hardcore band Krash will be making their way to Lethbridge in November and possibly Repair another Saskatoon hardcore band but very much in the NYHC style. It's going to be so much fun

I cant understand why the Descendents Milo Goes to College is considered pop punk. Obviously stupid labels don't matter. However MGtC is much closer to Minor Threat than Green Day or Blink 182. There is no reason for this post other than I needed to rant about something not involving fash or terfs

I saw a good point on twitter.
Canada's parliament , our political parties, all of it are pro-nazi, and the treatment of First Nations folks is a great example of that. We need to call out all their fascist behaviors, not just the ones that affect white Europeans

I think living in Alberta took away alot of the shock value of it for me. But the anger I feel is as intense as can be. We really need people to realize that fascism is here and it's not okay
Intellectually, I know liberals love fascists, but seeing our entire government stand up and applaud a man who almost certainly took part in ethnic cleansing for the Nazis has shocked me in ways I thought was impossible. Even more so is the near-news media blackout surrounding it.
