It bothers me when I see tv talk heads saying "the old order is irrevocably broken" because it feels like submitting in advance and giving the project-25 heads power they don't really have. No one knows what's coming next, so let's round it up in our own favor.

He definitely deserves to be impeached, but any teacher will tell you, don't threaten a punishment you can't follow through with. Impeachment failed twice, so if it fails again he will claim victory. If we do it, we have to be 100% sure we can complete it all the way, or we look like fools.

The key thing that would help is if the GOP put their feet down and marched over and confronted him the way they did Nixon. Don't the Republicans see they're tied to a drowning ship?
