Lots of handwringing over failing to keep homegrown beef in-state, and it’s valid. I wanted Wisconsin to open up the offense a bit, but Fick’s first OC brought the Air Raid and, like a chocolate-covered walleye on a stick at the state fair, it was too ambitious for this Midwest paradise.

Wisconsin’s transfer QB luck has been miserable (bad luck injuries, not knocking the players) for sure, but I can’t blame it all on that. The overall dysfunction has been noteworthy, which then requires more NIL infusion to retain/attract players, etc. I’m hopeful but not optimistic today.
