When we say Black, we mean EVERYBODY Black.
Blackness is not one story, one language, or one flag. It spans across continents, cultures, and histories — including the voices, brilliance, and resilience of Black immigrants in the United States.

Widespread contempt defines the USA these days. The most heartbreaking and tragic situations often seem to get less sympathy than they once did. Instead, many responses center on unflinching callousness and despicable scapegoating, pushing the country further into its spiraling downfall.

Care is complicated, gendered, misused. It is often mobilized to enact violence, not assuage it, yet I cannot surrender it. I want acts and accounts of care as shared and distributed risk, as mass refusals of the unbearable life, as total rejections of the dead future— @hystericalblkns.bsky.social

You can’t “expand access to IVF” and support fetal personhood at the same time🫣
If embryos are “people” from conception, this raises the likelihood of criminalization related to the destruction of embryos, a natural part of the IVF process.

People are taking much of this about what the “Founding Fathers” wanted and “checks and balances” too far. This moment is the fulfillment of many of those men's visions. There's no point in pretending they were what they weren't. Fight how you can, but don't reinforce white supremacy in the process.
