The U.S. has surpassed 2000 documented measles cases this year, the highest in more than 30 years.

This is driven by rampant disinformation about vaccines from Robert F. Kennedy Jr., including in his capacity as a government official.

We will lose our elimination status shortly.

One of the reasons I’m glad I retired from Professoring before the 2024 election is seeing Universities cave to right wing pressure.

The U of Oklahoma’s decision to remove Mel Curth from her teaching position for failing a student who quoted the Bible instead of a reliable source is one example.

You know what, shitbird? I have an idea. What about a VACCINE?

There are several in late stages of development.

Will you promote them so we can get “children back into the woods” as you say?

Contrast this with how this same administration has revoked visas for researchers studying how information ecosystems are manipulated (including by foreign actors like Russia). Seems strange that they welcome back the manipulators and attack those working to identify and call them out.

Not a single U. S. cable news station mentioned Trump lifting sanctions on Russian military suppliers last week.
I don't think ANY of the corporate media did.

The next "real" Congress can reverse every decision Trump made to name a piece of federal property after himself with a single short law -- simply pass a bill that states no current, past or future POTUS can have federal property bear their name if they're convicted on felony charges in any court.
