It's really funny learning Trump has had exactly one friend in his whole life. And even funnier to learn who it was.
Beyond anything else, it really seems like Jeffrey Epstein is the only person Trump has ever actually liked, right?

I can't believe this story didn't blow up in 2016 and extinguish trump's career then. Still, I'm glad the story is getting traction now.

The U.S. Made a Terrible Mistake When It Deported This Scientist. He was driving rocket science in the US in the 50s, we deported him for no good reason, and he built up China's capacity to do science and engineering.

We shouldn't build up our enemies.

Van Hollen says that he asked the VP of El Salvador why his government continues to hold Abrego Garcia even though he’s not charged with any crime and there’s no evidence that he’s MS-13.

“His answer was that the Trump administration is paying the government of El Salvador to keep him at CECOT”

I wrestle with this. If there's something we can realistically do to avoid the country going the Nazi route, it's cowardly to leave. But if the die is cast, brain draining the US is the best way to fight.

If only present sight was 2020.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

This video proved something incredible.

If you regularly bet on sports and casinos haven't banned you, you're a (net) loser.

Casinos rapidly detect and ban players who use the only strategy that wins in the long run: only taking bets where the odds were set wrong.

NYTimes, why use the meaningless phrase "defying legal limits" when you could use something clear like "illegal" or "unconstitutional" or "inconsistent with the law"?

Why not just state the reported facts clearly? The truth is an absolute defense, and we'll need it desperately going forward.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent gave Mr. Musk’s representatives at the so-called Department of Government Efficiency a powerful tool to monitor and potentially limit government spending.

The New York Times is getting removed from the Pentagon press office and replaced by the New York Post.

Real news sources are being replaced by fake news sources.

We'll miss having real journalists there when Hegseth orders soldiers to start policing cities and deporting US citizens.
NBC News is being kicked out of its space in the Pentagon and replaced by OANN.
