On my last rotation, I noticed an older fella (white, natch) accosting seemingly solo female visitors to "just show them something." I swiftly clocked him as some manner of pickup artist. He was on his 2nd try in my presence: an Asian girl, of course. He touched her arm & she dropped her bag. [1/2]

When PACIFIC RIM came out, I got word of an extra early preview in 3D IMAX @ the 34th & 8th AMC. So @chuckm.bsky.social & I got ROWDY in a ½-full theater, absolutely falling over each other in excitement. He witnessed me tweak out & babble:

I've mentioned previously that the heat in my bedroom is oppressive, to the point that I wake drenched in sweat. Last night I kept next to my bed one of the two 2-liter bottles of seltzer I expected to last until Sunday evening: this morning I see I chugged so much it's ½ empty (or is it ½ full?).
For the 1st time since 2020, this nigh-18 year old cat caught a wee bitty mouse. I praised him, then he started walking towards me. I hurriedly closed my bedroom door, in so doing startling him into dropping it AND knocking my umbrella off the knob, wedging the door shut.

Last nite was the museum staff holiday party, which gets skimpier & cheaper every year: if I wasn't determined to eat & drink enough to cost my employers dearly I wouldn't go. This year's theme was "prom," but we weren't allowed to bring dates (a moot point). This was my 'fit: a bolo was involved.

How can Netflix buy WB if the former's valuation's so murky? They don't release #s re: viewership nor budgets of internal projects: informed estimates are the best we have to go on, but they also spend $$ w/abandon. And just think: had they moved sooner they coulda bundled Sesame Street in the deal.

I'm acutely aware that it's been some time since I made a statement re: the ongoing gen0c¡de in Gªza. That's b/c I'm in the process of trying to make a VERY LARGE STATEMENT re: |srae|. I feel almost guilty of how fulfilling the hard work I'm doing is yielding results in which I take pride: a rarity.
I took Pavement to the vet today for the first time since his teeth were yanked: he's still fixated on his muzzle, which I feared meant he had a tumor or something as undeniably lethal. I really thought this might be his last day. But no, nothing so terminal, except maybe to my checkbook.
