This test match is going to become another shit show, England will promise to win then get destroyed. Without Cumins and Hazelwood this is the best chance England have had for years to win a a test in Australia. Still think England will fuck this up

A democrat party that had some kind of backbone would be telling them to choose a democratic country over China or Russia, if no we tax you Bigly baby. Theyve all shown they have no back bone.
Billionaires are considering cutting or reducing their ties to California by the end of the year because of a proposed ballot measure that could tax the state’s wealthiest residents.
A Wealth Tax Floated in California Has Billionaires Thinking of Leaving
It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.

Zirkzee was crap, but he's not a number 9 and he's the last player you'd want as a centre forward hold up man. That's not on him for me!

I thought we looked far better defensively as a team without Fernandes in central midfield. Not a massive surprise, I suppose. But we didn't lose as much as an attacking force as some had feared.

Played pretty well 1st half, thought Mount going off would be bad, but not that bad. All you can say about the 2nd half is we showed some resilience and fought. The Barcodes should have got something from that game, kept thinking if they get 1, the 2nd won't be long after.

I wanted to see Martinez start at CB, but 3 left footed centre backs, how's that going to work. No idea how this will pan out. We have started to look pretty good as an attacking threat last few games, but dodgy as fuck at the back.

I like Carse but it should have been him dropped before Atkinson. Atkinson's so accurate and he takes wickets

Bit of a wild story. Hearing this second hand, but buckle up.

ICE attempted to pull a Kavanaugh stop last night (Christmas Eve), pulling over my mom’s boss (an LPR). He proved his immigration status, but they decided to go after the coworker he was with instead. It gets wilder from here… 1/

The decision of the Trump administration to target Imran Ahmed of the Center for Countering Digital Hate is deeply sinister.
Ahmed’s crime was to expose the merger of MAGA with Silicon Valley. If they can come for him, they can come for anyone

The Telegraph highlighting - yet missing - two vital points here.

1) We're not calling for £476m to be spent. It already is - this is about diverting it to actually helping.

2) Why "cruelty" in question? The £476m we're spending is part of an operation tear gassing babies.
