Let's learn abotu the Maned wolf, Chrysocyon brachyurus. They're native to South America, mostly Brazil & are the only species in genus Chrysocyon (Greek for "golden dog").

The 'maned' refers to black tufting around the neck, a regal mane for a TALL prince.

I just watched The Breakthrough, a Swedish miniseries about how genetic genealogy helped track down the killer in a double-murder case that had gone unsolved for 16 years.

I thought it was very well-made.
