The worst thing about the NFL (and lots of areas of the culture) is the magnification of narrative. Everything the Lions do is perfect and the broadcast is one long gush. Then a bunch of ex-jocks and screamy morons spend all week stewing up OUTRAGE about the Bears, Giants, Jets, etc.

Bears’ run defense is woeful. The interiors of both lines were neglected or poorly scouted and this is what you get.
