Here’s the thing: If you believe, as Trump does, that our FBI is the enemy, then of course you’d pick people like Patel & Bongino to run the FBI. Trump thinks the FBI is some “deep state” that needs to be destroyed. That’s what Patel will do. And America will be way less safe because of it.
