Look, it's bad enough that a local school district (in TX) is requiring libraries & teachers to pull TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD to ensure compliance with SB12, but it's even worse that the list of pulled books was generated by an *AI analysis* that seems to have flagged any book with any mention of race.

My husband got me this Nordicware egg cooker thing as a stocking stuffer at Christmas, and I make my own fake Egg McMuffin in it three days a week. It has made breakfast much more enjoyable.

My starter went moldy in the fridge but my discard jar didn’t. So I attempted to resurrect my starter from discard. It took almost 18 hours but I think it worked.

At the end of dinner, we had ~14 rolls left (of 32). Three hours later, after leaving the kids to their own devices while we watched football, we are left with one. ONE. Apparently one of said kids ate SEVEN of the leftover rolls.
