Without giving any of that part of the story away, I've always been facinated by changes in perspective. Of all that humans have done, we are still just a microscopic blue mote of dust in cosmic scales. Look up "Laniakea Supercluster", on youtube for more fun too. We.. we are so insignificantly tiny

Ah fun one! The gods were born in an act of complex creation by others. Those gods in turn created life that began to multiply, grow, and change on its own over time. All but a couple entities of the world will be forever ignorant of that first act, and the MC will use that to great advantage.
