WIP - character reference for book 1, Marfon. This is just some base colors for Marfon's living armor progress. As a gift from Arsolvet the blood god, the seed (left) was implanted into his chest, attached itself, and began to grow. Specifically designed as a symbiote to grow armor, its kinda gross.

In both books so far, a holiday celebrated is the Parade of the Dead. This one celebrates the end of the Lich Wars. Now, an emissary walks a column of the recent dead through the streets and all who wish can hold out an arm, and the dead can share their life story in a quick moment as souls meet.
