I'll tell you what does drive people to despair: money worries. The idea that you can improve someone's mental health by giving them more money worries should be an obvious mistake of thinking. But it isn't. Because years of right wing rhetoric has made it impossible to see people's needs clearly

Thanks to @theguardian.com for sharing this amazing recipe - just cooked a brunch that my LA girlfriend said tasted like she remembered (even tho I skipped the coriander and forgot the avocado 🙈) also we had tequila sunrises on the side, no dry Jan here 😂

Saw a colorectal surgeon to consult on my upcoming surgery for #endometriosis this week and the first thing he said was how sorry he was that it had taken this long. Appreciated the acknowledgement but this can be such a devastating condition for so many

I see this quite a lot. Don’t confuse healthcare equity with health equity. Don’t use these terms interchangeably. The first is only a small part of the second. Health is largely shaped outside of healthcare by factors outside of the health service.
