Even if religion disappeared the Jewish nation wouldn't necessarily. It's just that the religion of the Covenant has been a major part of our history and we relied heavily on it to keep ourselves together in diaspora and haven't fully secularized as a nation yet.

Jews aren't the ones who are refusing to live in peace with others in the land, which is why by the way Israel is a very diverse country while the rest of the ME is dominated by Arab and Islamic colonialist identity.

Thousands and thousands of years ago my ancestors were in the land. Most of my people were drive out by European and Arab colonizers. Those who stayed largely had their identity stripped from them.

I have discussed the formation of a non-governmental universal basic income and extended income program, which can easily be bootstrapped and expanded organically, many times in various threads. Not sure if I've ever actually written it out in a root thread, so here we go.

Automation is a good thing. Destroying the employee-employer dynamic is a good thing. We must need to work together to build new cooperatives networks from the local through global level, UBI and extended income programs, and then we're good.

Are rich people incapable of thinking through systemic effects?

Even assuming prices drop when things are cheaper to make (not actually true), if everything costs nothing, then you're gonna get paid even less for whatever your skills are.

All prices are effectively infinite if you have no income.

You know I just processed something. At least two people I spoke with recently about the economy and whatnot, did not know what UBI was. They weren't even really aware of the concept of automatically having enough to survive. Shows you how the miseducation system works.

It's how you use the technology that matters. The other nice thing about the tech is that you can do very complex chained searches in the background, multiple different activities including agent functions, etc. all at once. You can coordinate a virtual team, overseeing it, without much stress.

Funny thing is that people said the same thing about search engines, the internet, the printing press w/ its proliferation of repositories of the written word, etc. Thanks to back and forth with ChatGPT, reviewing its linked sources, doing multiple Q&A sessions with it, etc. I know a lot more.
