BART service has stopped between Castro Valley and West Dublin/Pleasanton stations due to a car crash on I-580.
A vehicle involved in the crash is on the BART tracks.
We do not yet have an ETA for service restoration.

IDK why people are yelling about people driving their kids to school, but my district doesn't have buses. They haven't since the mid 1990s. The options are walk, bike, or drive. Public buses stop at the middle and high schools, but not elementary, and they don't come through my neighborhood.

Yeah. Yeah it's pretty impossible, but we still saw egrets, many many many many many American coots, pelicans, red tail hawks, a kite or two, a bunch of mallards, a few of what may have been shovelers, a scrub jay...

Go to your doctor and get your measles titers checked to make sure you are still immune and if not get re-vaccinated. It’s more and more likely all of us are going to eventually come in contact with it.
The thing about measles is that it’s the only known virus that triggers immune amnesia - it causes your immune system to forget everything it has previously learned. Meaning you essentially reset to zero and are now at risk of basically everything.
It can take 2-3 years to get immunities back.

I was outside and it was like 45/7 degrees out and I was like this is really cold, and that's how I know I could never live in a place where it snows. (Without a lot of complaining until I got used to it)

At Alpha's Winter concert, the band played Soda Pop. The kids went wild. The band director came out for it dressed like Mystery.
I think he should have gone full Abby, but Alpha insists that would have been awful (ly hilarious)
