Hm apparently it is soldered. and it is a special CR2032 battery that has little leggies on it.
So this is more involved then I am probably gonna get tonight, and I do not have the right type of battery.

And the flipped chip, where you can see all the actual components, including the coin battery.
The coin battery seems to be a pretty standard CR2032 seems to be... permanently attached, I am gonna have to do some research on what the heck to do about that

Project: fix the battery backup on a Super Mario World cartridge that no longer saves.
Cartridge systems use a little coin battery to hold the volatile memory in shape. That battery has a life expectancy for this use of about, 25-30 years. I have heard its possible to replace it but have not tried

Dragon Stitch: Okay we are seeing some distinct dragony shapes.
The bottom is its big round belly. Its neck sticks out of frame of the top. And one forearm extended to the right.

I did break one tiny tab that only holds a flower so I glued that flower in place instead, you can see it for now by the little dot of glue
