I rate everything 5 stars on letterboxd because making movies is hard and everyone deserves it, but also this was genuinely one of my favorite of 2025!

I've never liked or been good at the short quip format of this or any other character-limited site, and even still!

Unpacking Play-by-Post Design (series) by Fernando Miguel Lofranco. This guy's been around the Dice Exploder discord for years talking about his lengthy experience with pbp, and it was very cool to finally see a full writeup of how it all works.

Primetime Adventures & The shift in stakes by Deeper In The game. Such a simple concept: the most interesting stakes are often not whether you succeed at something. Hard to believe how true this is until you see it in practice; play Primetime Adventures!

The Zungeon Manifesto: Demystifying Dungeon Creation
I have a really large earring collection; I have perhaps as many earrings as I have TTRPGs, and I mainly buy them from local craft markets, not jewellers. They’re all made from resin or clay,…

Star Crossed does this in its rulebook. The whole books is kinda this way in Understanding Comics though I would bet specific parts of it help give you ideas.
