My supervisor asked me to lead a meeting while he's OOO.

I met with his supervisor today to review discussion points for the meeting. I had a draft agenda already printed out for both of us. Her response to that simple act was "You're awesome!"

It's nice when the little things are appreciated.

The @nin.com soundtrack is one of the few redeeming things about this and I feel like Trent would agree.

Unfortunately this is the also first Tron movie to have PoC leads: Greta Lee & Jodie Turner-Smith.

It has been a very white franchise up til now.

And their movie is being sabotaged.

There’s a big tendency online to both assume one individual is an exact representative of a group and ascribe all the negative stereotypes one assumes of the group to that person AND to take one individual’s negative behaviors to be representative of whatever group they supposedly represent.

I see this the most with leftists attacking their straw-libs and of course right wingers are absolutely even more guilty of it.
