There's a perception vortex as well. It is only 15 miles more to get to my Mum in York than inlaws in Bournemouth. Quicker roads as well. And yet 'to the far North' always feels like far more of a schlep than bimbling down to the south coast.

imperfection not an issue with me, i've got it in spades. But I only make a record every 5 years or so and when it's printed it's printed. I've always taken that responsibility seriously, now more than ever in content-slop world. I'll know when it's right, but it does derail in the final stages.
