I visited a geothermal plant in Iceland that had a lil' interpretive center, basically a couple small rooms with some static displays, a bathroom, a projected video playing, and a couple staff. It was great! Love when infra projects engage the public like that

Also shout-out to Hoboken and NYC for actually making enough changes to reduce deaths

I think the LEGO tolerance is actually slightly tighter than the difference, according to some sources. Also none of that matters because US inches are in metric anyway lol

I think it's actually 3.2mm which is slightly more than an 8th of an inch

That's just your brain's innate reflex to invent ochre! It's a load-bearing color so if there's an organism that doesn't have it there's a bit in the brain stem that sends the signal to the optic nerve to go "hey you gotta invent this shit pronto" to prevent disaster

Nothing but you, the siding, and 65-80db of your neighbor's AC compressor noise

(jk jk I won't be too judgemental of someone who actually uses their lawn lol)

It absolutely would since you lose/gain less heat through the attached walls

Since it's a density number it could be wonky because there's very few or no residents in that area. Like if four people live there and two of them are kids because it's two parents and two kids you've got 50% kids which is crazy high

It happens from time to time! I remember visiting downtown during the early part of the 2008 snowstorm and watching the chaos unfold, and I think Seattle got 8-10 inches in 2019. They have plows it just can take a bit to get all the side streets and ice on the hills is a problem
