New Arrival! Just put this on and had full on shivers down the spine for the entire duration, it’s *amazing*. Best £7 plus postage I’ve spent in ages

Haven’t played this for ages, and in doing so realise that ‘pieces of 79 and 15, drifting along a jumbly sea *do do do do do do do do*’ is often looping, somewhere in my head.

My friend Kaiser Matt (who graphic designed the The Genesis package) has made these notebooks made to look like his ancient Selmer and Watkins Valve Amps. Nice! www.ebay.co.uk/itm/11699079...

#nowplaying Bagged a cheap copy of this after semi knowing about it for aaaages. More songy than i always imagine German stuff of this era is gonna be

#nowplaying Some great songs, but there should have been legislation in 1969 that limited musicians to one rock opera.

I need to know the coat count in ‘Evil’. Both David and Kristen wear multiple coats per episode that I *feel* like you never see again. Lotta nice coats for a humble Priest

I try not to buy reissues if possible, but I’m admitting defeat on this one! Too good to only have on a cd lurking in a box ‘somewhere’

As used by Grace Slick in The Great Society, weirdly. Not many of this Dartford made guitar can have been shipped to America

Lasted 8 days. 1963 Vox Consort project

I knew of ’Muzak’ as music played in American lifts, what I didn’t know is that they were a brand, who also supplied the amplifiers, which predictably I now want.

I can’t remember if I said, but I’m working towards a book about these guitars, there’s no bigger nerd about them than me. Someone AI generated this description for their sales listing and aside from every other detail being wrong, managed to straight up invent the company founders.

Yeah thanks for that gOoGlE

After many years I have finally completed the Bryan Miller’s Destruction discography with a copy of their slightly easier to find 45 on Troubadour. As in I’ve seen maybe 8 copies ever for sale on the internet vs 2.

Some new pics of the only Syd Barrett solo gig, circa 1970, have surfaced, and they are so cool. Jerry Shirley on drums, Dave Gilmour on bass

Thanks mum! In 1970 she went with my Uncle to the Fotheringay gig at the RFH where Nick Drake supported. Neither of them remembered, but going through my Uncle’s stuff (he told me he remembered seeing Nick Drake another time), turns out it was fig2 . What. A. Lineup

Oh no I’ve done it again. 1968 eh? Cool that they are still displaying a two year old Kinks album, a 1985 Velvet Underground reissue and (not pictured) a 1965 Who poster that came with the 1970 ‘Live at Leeds’ album #scrooged #scrooge

#nowplaying A 10p chazza find when I was at Uni. This record *sounds* incredible, minimal miking, straight to mono I reckon.

#nowplaying Abandoned the ‘winter’ side of Wendy Carlos’ Sonic Seasonings as it was a bit too effectively bleak ;)
