We live under a "vibes" based system of laws these days.
But, I suspect that they’re going to argue that the USA doesn’t recognize Maduro as the legitimate head of state, and very few Venezuelans will shed a tear for Maduro and his oppressive regime. (but of course he'll just be replaced with worse)

If you are poor, you are supposed to feel horrible 100% of the time and your children should be wearing rags and be publicly shamed every time they go to the lunch line and a bell would be rung every time some kid with free-lunch assistance got their food and everyone would point and laugh at them.
I don't give a shit if people on SNAP are buying cookies. I think they deserve MORE money than they're getting.
