I will only concede that GOP is (maybe) marginally more complicit in that they're the ones slamming the gas pedal more often. Dems often escape scrutiny because their role is to frustrate attempts to reverse what previous GOP admins did, cementing previous regressive change instead of going further

At present, imperialism and the domination of the banks have “developed” into an exceptional art both these methods of upholding and giving effect to the omnipotence of wealth in democratic republics of all descriptions. The petty-bourgeois democrats, such as our Socialist-Revolutionaries and Mensheviks, and also their twin brothers, all the social-chauvinists and opportunists of Western Europe, expect just this “more” from universal suffrage. They themselves share, and instil into the minds of the people, the false notion that universal suffrage “in the present-day state” is really capable of revealing the will of the majority of the working people and of securing its realization.

Put another way: Undertale reads to me as an antithesis to zero-sum, Malthusian, lifeboat-ethics politics. It's a middle finger to the anhedonic Floweys of the world who'd kill billions to preserve the status quo, claiming their victims would have done that to you had they not intervened.
