New York must say NO to the Williams NESE pipeline that would deepen our reliance on fossil fuels and raise our utility costs even higher!

More than a dozen business interests have joined National Grid in backing a controversial pipeline championed by Trump.

Some letters have "template" in the filename, "[INSERT PARTY]" in the comments, and traces of National Grid's lobbying firm.

Gov. Hochul must stop Trump’s polluting fracked gas pipelines.

The proposed Williams NESE pipeline threatens NY waters & would keep us tied to dirty fossil fuels. To make matters worse, the ratepayer would pay for the pipe through a higher monthly utility bill!

This Williams believes that protecting New York's air, land, and water is imperative.

Another Williams, however, the Williams NESE pipeline, will have the opposite effect, worsening health outcomes, degrading our harbors, and violating climate law.

All this to appease Trump?

Question:
What do Zohran Mamdani, Hakeem Jeffries, Vito Fossella, AOC and the Adams administration agree on?

Answer:
Stopping the Williams NESE fracked gas pipeline project, which would raise utility bills & super pollutes.

Hey @governor.ny.gov Hochul, are you paying attention? #NoTrumpPipelines

Hey Assembly Member @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social, just wondering what your thoughts are on the Williams Pipeline☠️ which would poison our beaches, worsen climate change and raise costs for working families?? It would be SO helpful if you spoke out against it!

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social when are you going to stand up publicly to oppose the Williams NESE pipeline? Your silence is very loud

Hey @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social
it’s time to come out against the Williams NESE fracked gas pipeline project that Trump is demanding.

If it’s approved it will raise utility bills, pollute the air and water, and cook the climate. ⏰

We took a road trip to the Hamptons Sunday morning with our friends from @fwwnewyork.bsky.social to give Hochul a piece of our mind about her dirty pipeline deal with Trump. We were loud and visible while she spoke. She definitely heard our message #NoTrumpPipelines in NY!

IS THIS THE LAST YEAR YOU SWIM AT ROCKAWAY BEACH?

Trump wants to bury a pipeline off the coast of Queens, Bklyn, & Staten Island. And release cancer-causing toxins like arsenic, lead, mercury, PCBs, dioxin from under the seabed.

NY rejected this deadly pipeline in 2020.

Kathy Hochul made a deal with Trump and is now trying to fast track pipelines NY previously rejected. They want rate hikes and environmental destruction to please their donors in the fossil fuel industry. We want clean energy, @governor.ny.gov, not your dirty deal.

How many times in your life have you heard a member of Congress or someone on TV say “we can’t afford it” when talking about something small but very important? It’s been happening my entire life. We can’t afford it? They’re putting seven times the annual budget of the EPA into immigrant detention.
