We FLOODED City Hall yesterday to stop Intros 948 and 1107, which, fueled by Airbnb 💰💰💰, are trying to make the housing crisis even WORSE!

So many of us showed up that we had to rally outside the gates until we were let in.

Updated! After 5 days and a letter that all but said “we’ll sue you tomorrow,” past videos of NYC public pension fund board meetings are now back on the comptroller’s page. Presumably live-streaming of the meetings will be restored. (Mtngs still virtual to duck protesters 🙄)
There’s still no public access to NYC pension fund board meetings. 😬

They are virtual only. And since July, @bradlander.bsky.social @nyccomptroller.bsky.social apparently hasn’t live-streamed or posted video of meetings. Nothing! Crazy!

We sent another notice today for Wednesday’s meeting. Link ⬇️

This isn't the first time we've called on @schumer.senate.gov to step down.

It's time to rip the band-aid off. Stand up to Trump or step down.

What we witnessed during the Government shutdown is utter failure, Chuck. Again. Retire!

More of Hochul doing the bidding of oil, gas & real estate interests.😡

Here, she wants to delay a money-saving law she herself signed in a frivolous corporate lawsuit the state’s winning.🙄

Another reason to campaign and vote for @DelgadoforNY, who we endorsed today. LFG

🚨BREAKING: We’re ready for Round 2! Today, we came to Wall Street to endorse @delgadoforny.bsky.social for Governor.

While bankers rake in record profits, working people are being crushed. The choice is clear: corporate politics under Kathy Hochul or people power with Antonio Delgado.

Hochul is wrecking our future by doing Trump’s bidding.

@delgadoforny.bsky.social:
Hochul “bends the knee” to Trump in her dirty deal to approve the Williams fracked gas pipeline.

🔥 Truth.

Hochul is raising our utility bills, polluting our air and water, and cooking the climate.

Can we have a little smug as a treat?
My old org, and my organizing home, @nychange.bsky.social endorsed Zohran on Day 1 and got relentlessly concern-trolled by many very serious people. They’re too busy organizing to be all smug so I’m happy to do it for them.

It’s time for Hochul to stop ignoring NY law at our expense for the benefit of the oil and gas company’s profits.

Instead of taking action, Governor Hochul is taking us backwards.

That’s why we'll march on April 18.

It’s Deadline Hochul.

@nyccomptroller.bsky.social made a promise. We think that when you make a promise, you should keep it. And when you break a promise, you should not be surprised when people object.

NYCC is one of the premier organizing groups of low-income people of color in this country. Period. Their role IS to push those in power, even make them feel uncomfortable, to create change for their members. 🧵 1/2
