We're heading into the final round of the MLS Fantasy season. We may not have any drama at the top of the league, but I still have to call attention to the fact that YOUR BOY Seoul Train led the league once again this round with 132 points. I don't know about you guys, but I loathe international breaks. Especially early in the nascent season; it just kills any momentum teams have. My only consolation is that it is getting to crunch time for many international sides so there's much on the line for teams. How do you all feel about international breaks? Love them or loathe them? The Washington Spirit did it again. In fact, Rose Kouassi did it again. A frustrating second half, which included a 95th equalizer from San Diego Wave, was turned around with yet another moment of late game heroism from the Spirit. They probably shouldn't have been in the situation, but were spared a week of thinking about the points that got away when a Rose Kouassi cross (shross/crot) found the back of the net in the 98th minute.

DC United's home finale fell short of a win as 2 red cards contributed to a 1-0 loss to Charlotte FC. Wilfried Zaha got the goal for the 3rd place team in the Eastern Conference table as the Black-and-Red once again wasn't able to gain any points before the home fans. DC United once again started out fairly well, as they had a quirky chance in the second minute that bounced off the post but didn't go across the line.

DC Power FC is back after a 16-day layoff as they resume league play this evening on the road against Carolina Ascent. They have some ground to make up in the standings, as they're currently 6th in the league table. However, they have several games in hand on the teams above them and carry a 1W-0L-3D record into Charlotte tonight. Head coach Omid Namazi said the team had been working on finishing out games so that some of those draws can turn into 3 full points.

D.C. United’s match against Charlotte marks the end of the Black and Red’s 2025 home campaign. Statistically, DCU’s home form this season has been its worst since the opening of Audi Field in 2018. Regardless of the outcome of the match, D.C. United will finish this season with the fewest home wins and fewest (or tied for the fewest) home points in the Audi Field era.
