For me, Thanksgiving was a pleasant surprise. A quote from one of my boomer good ol' boy cousins:
"To tell you the truth, I've always had a pretty intense dislike for Donald Trump, and I know I shouldn't say this, but I have to admit, I pray might often that the third time's the charm."

The first official confirmation that Noem herself made the decision not to turn the planes around. A couple hundred men were tortured as a result — and soon after, the Supreme Court confirmed that the Trump admin’s Alien Enemies Act process was a total violation of due process.

SECDEF thinks he's the company's "hard LT," the guy who thinks his shit doesn't stink but fails spectacularly during his first FTX because of a mistake his NCOs saw coming but didn't fix in order to humble him.
(On of his more humble fellow PLs made the same mistake but his NCOs warned him.)

When you draw a platoon leader like Hegseth, it’s your worst nightmare. You just ride it out until he’s gone and gets replaced by someone who isn’t a complete jackass. Only a fool like Trump would put one of them in charge of the entire defense department.
