A few months ago I was laughing at how the World Cup would be fucked by trump dipshittery, but now its just insane how fucked it is. Like any self respecting European will not show up, so at least like, what, 10-20% of the football hooligans that normally would pay out their asses to attend wont?
Honestly boycotting the World Cup would be the most effective and probably the least disruptive of all of the options available to Europe. I’m not sure how you can send teams and fans to contribute to a spectacle designed entirely to celebrate a guy trying to invade your territory.

if we ever wrestle a democracy back, I think we should make White House Press Secretary an elected position. They should not be appointed by the executive. They should be a nonpartisan office of accountability, not a mouthpiece. The President shouldnt have a PR department.
