Labour don’t care about the environment, quite the opposite.

People often dismally fail to recognise that only 1.4% of the U.K. is “built on land” when referencing residential and commercial buildings.
November 16, 2025 at 12:16 PM
Likewise.

Agreed on the framing of those moving to the Greens/Libs. For the red wall voters, given that Labour are now Reform-lite, many of those will just vote for Reform next.

Never said that Labour have mass immigration ideals, but they have traditionally recognised the benefits that immigrants bring.
November 16, 2025 at 12:06 PM
All comes down to how much you value your ideals and your traditional voter base. Clearly things that Keir Starmer doesn’t value.

As a result, the voters you’re angling for will still vote for the more extreme alternative (Reform), whilst your traditional base walks away never to return.

This time next week (following Monday’s policy announcement) - Labour <15%

Labour within 18 months have laid waste to the values they once stood for.

The good will and extensive political capital they were granted have been burned through, faster than their beloved aviation fuel.

All that remains now is a shell of deluded loyalists trying to defend the indefensible.
November 16, 2025 at 10:49 AM
The far right hijacked the concept of patriotism, they weaponised the St. George’s cross and now they’re claiming credit for these immoral, un-British anti-immigration policies.

The “changed“ Labour Party.

Emboldening racists.

Layout the foundations for a Reform gov’t.

Labour had everything they could ever want in order to enact meaningful change. An opportunity that could guarantee a successive term in gov’t and provide a platform to truly address the systemic fault lines ripping this country apart.

But instead, they decided to try and shadow the devil.

Wholeheartedly agree and that’s echoed by any U.K. citizen that has an ounce of compassion about them.
November 16, 2025 at 9:36 AM
Despicable, almost gloating that her parents came here “legally” whilst simultaneously denying the same opportunities to others that she benefited from. Then branding her policy a “moral mission”.

We looked back with nostalgia to Priti Patel when Suella was Home Secretary and now we look back with nostalgia to Suella with Shabana Mahmood as Home Secretary.

A sick game of one-upsmanship, by those doing their utmost to pull the ladder up behind them. Each time to the detriment of the country.

Many of those problem drivers will have deep rooted, habitual law breaking behaviour (may take several NIP’s before the penny finally drops). The lurking influence of anti-cycling outrage from the MSM also has an impact on their driving behaviour.

I’ve also noticed no improvement in my local area.
November 15, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Definitely, like with these immigration proposals that go beyond what the Tories would have done. Other examples like the Crime and Policing Bill with a crackdown on anti protest powers, with increased rollout of facial recognition tech. Or perhaps welcoming in Palantir to public sector…
November 15, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Exactly. This is where a there’s been a complete abuse of trust and actually deception from Labour. National Renewal is actually more National Betrayal. The vote for change was actually a vote for concealed continuity.
November 15, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Hits the nail on the head. Ultimately, it all comes down to a drastic fall in standards at every level, to the point where fundamental responsibilities aren’t even understood.
November 15, 2025 at 5:47 PM
Exactly, how many of those far right racists that Labour are tying themselves up in political knots in order to appease, will let up on their “Keir Starmer’s a w4nker“ chants?

Zero. Only further detracts from the collective health and prosperity of the country.
November 15, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Also, because of what the Tories did to this country, trust and faith in politicians is at an all time low. So for Labour somehow to not appear better in some way is truly remarkable.
November 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM
My expectations of this Labour gov’t were incredibly low from the offset, the only disappointment is that people in this country deserve so much better.

On the whole they’re not worse than the Tories, but there are instances where they are (like this) and that’s just from being in power <18mths.
November 15, 2025 at 12:57 PM
And in many respects they’re actually worse. This is a good example of lengths even the treacherous Tories wouldn’t go to.

Besides the fact it’s completely counter productive, at a time when Labour are desperate for productivity boosts and economic growth.
