This is f’d up America. Mr. Garcia has not been charged with any crime. The Trump administration has admitted his detention in El Salvador is a mistake. And Bukele and Trump refuse to send him back to his family.

President of El Salvador says he won't return mistakenly deported man to U.S.
President Nayib Bukele made the comments shortly after White House adviser Stephen Miller defended the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

CALLS ARE WORKING - it has bought us precious time, but we NEED to keep the pressure up.

Tomorrow is the cloture vote.

KEEP CALLING: (202) 224-3121 ☎️☎️☎️

Tell your Dem Senator to vote NO on Cloture and NO on the Republican spending bill.

Do NOT assume your Senator will be good on this. Trust me.
🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

@peters.senate.gov I’ve been calling your offices for two days and no one picks up in any of them. Are you avoiding talking to constituents, just like the GOP? Because you’re planning to sell out on cloture and the CR? What about you, @slotkin.senate.gov? Same? Michigan wants you to FIGHT!

And show a little gratitude. Did X say thank you?
So if MAGA is correct and X is under massive attack from Ukraine. Then there's only one course of action. Musk must immediately cede half of X's assets to Ukraine. And apologize for allowing themselves to be attacked.

There are hundreds of reports of Green Card holders not being allowed back into the US after visiting other countries.

Reminder: anyone who has a Green Card is here LEGALLY, yet their cards are being taken from them & they’re being denied entry.

Fascism is here.

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?
